Friends from the Road

On the road we have been fortunate to meet some wonderful people and hear stories of their amazing journeys, most of the time far more dangerous, crazy, and more inspirational than our own. Some are just interesting people we have had the good fortune to share a few beers with. Here are some of their blogs:

http://twoblindtoride.org/ - A couple we met in Ushuaia. Both are legally blind and they are travelling from the bottom of Argentina to Alaska on a tandem bicycle. Incredible.

http://blog.travelpod.com/travel-blog/off-the-rails/1/tpod.html - An English couple travelling around the world. It was very interesting hearing about their travels through Russia, Mongolia, Nepal, and many other places; we shared a day with them in Foz de Iguacu.

http://adventurewithacolautti.wordpress.com/ - One of our fellow comrades during our work stint in Bolivia. A hilarious blog.

http://elmundoasorbitos.blogspot.com/ - Our other partners in crime during our work stint. From Spain and following a similar route to us.

http://www.bis-die-tage.de/ - A German couple we met during our Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu, also travelling the whole of South America.

http://theworldjog.com - Ok so we haven't actually met this guy, but we heard about him from some friends. He is RUNNING around the world, running!

http://www.kisstheride.blogspot.com/- Another biker couple we met in Otavalo, Ecuador (but on two bikes). You can see how experienced riders do it.
